  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 can (15 oz) Progresso™ Black Beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 4 tortillas from 1 package (8.2 oz) Old El Paso™ Flour Tortillas for Soft Tacos and Fajitas (10 Count), cut into 1-inch strips
  • 1 cup from 1 package (7 oz) Old El Paso™ Shredded Mexican Style 4 Cheese Blend
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 cup from 1 container (7 oz) Old El Paso™ Crema Mexicana

Preparation

  1. In 12-inch skillet, cook beef over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in water, salsa, beans and taco seasoning mix; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens.
  2. Stir in tortilla strips; cook 1 minute. Top with cheese; cover, and remove skillet from heat. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  3. Top with remaining ingredients.
