Prep Instructions

YOU WILL NEED:

1 LB. BONELESS, SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS CUT IN ½-INCH CUBES

2 TABLESPOONS VEGETABLE OIL

1 ¾ CUPS WATER

1 TABLESPOON BUTTER

FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THE COOKING DIRECTIONS. REFRIGERATE LEFTOVERS.

1. Cook Rice: Add water, rice, and butter to 2-quart saucepan; stir well. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.

While Rice is Cooking -

2. Cook Chicken: Stir chicken pieces, oil, and Seasoning Mix in 10-inch non-stick skillet until well coated. Cook over medium-high heat 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until very little liquid remains, and meat begins to char.

3. Serve chicken with rice. Top with desired toppings and Queso Blanco Sauce.

Suggested toppings: fresh romaine lettuce, tomato salsa, black beans.
